Founded in April 2012, Uthhan is a collaborative initiative by artisan community organizations and Golden Era Royal Group (GERG), dedicated to uplifting financially weaker skilled artisans across India. The initiative recognizes that the value of handcrafted products lies not only in their quality but also in their presentation, an area often inaccessible to artisans. To bridge this gap, Uthhan provides dedicated retail platforms where artisan products are showcased professionally, enabling direct access to customers with the support of institutional and government bodies.
Through its grassroots network and the K.A.S.B.A. Know More model, Uthhan is currently supporting over 10,000 artisan families by nurturing self-sustaining communities. By eliminating middlemen, the initiative ensures fair pricing for customers while maximizing earnings for artisans. Your contributions go directly to purchasing raw materials, tools, and infrastructure, so artisans can continue their craft with dignity. Uthhan encourages conscious consumer participation and every purchase made contributes directly to improving livelihoods and preserving traditional skills.
